Templated. Generic. Lost in the pile. That’s not you.
Here’s the Thing
AI sits on both sides of hiring now. Job-seekers use it to churn out applications. Employers use it to filter them out. There are more applications than ever before, and fewer than ever are landing. The market’s response has been disappointing: cheap template services and AI mills are churning out low-quality applications, and traditional services are pricing out the people who need them most while refusing to adapt.
There’s a gap here. A gap between cheap and nasty versus expensive and outdated. A gap between AI’s potential and how it’s being used. A gap between your skills and how they’re portrayed. And ultimately, a gap between you and the opportunities you deserve.
The Vantage Model
We’re here to close the gap. We don’t churn. We don’t template. We don’t fabricate. Every project starts with positioning. Who you are. Where you’re going. What makes you competitive. We don’t write a single word until we understand your background, your strengths, and your goals.
We’ve been where you are, on the wrong side of the gap. We built this because we wished it existed when we needed it. Modern tools amplify the strategy. The result: materials that open doors and land interviews. We call it the Vantage Model.
Behind it is a system built on research: how recruiters scan documents, how tracking systems filter candidates, what influences hiring decisions. Every project runs through frameworks grounded in that research, led by a practitioner who shapes your positioning, checks every detail, and makes sure your documents sound like you. It’s not instinct. It’s methodology, applied to your situation.
So, where are you starting?
Two paths, one standard.
Share your story.
Most intake forms ask for your job history and call it a day. Ours goes further. The Professional Profile captures not just where you’ve worked, but what drives you, where you’re headed, what you’re proudest of, and what kind of support you’re looking for. If there are things you’d rather we handle sensitively, like a career gap or a tricky departure, there’s space for that too.
You’ll also upload any supporting documents: a current resume, job postings, certificates, whatever you’ve got. Set aside 30 to 45 minutes. The depth is deliberate: it’s how we surface strengths you might not think to mention, and it’s why your documents won’t sound like anyone else’s.
We build your strategy.
This is where most services skip straight to writing. We don’t. Before a word of your resume is drafted, your intake goes through a detailed strategic analysis. We verify every claim against what you’ve told us, map out who you’re competing against, identify what sets you apart, and build a positioning strategy tailored to the roles you’re targeting. If we spot gaps or need clarification, we reach out before moving on.
That means understanding exactly how to frame your experience so it resonates with the people making hiring decisions. We analyse how you naturally communicate so your documents sound like you, not a template. And we stress-test the whole strategy: if a sceptical reviewer would poke holes, we find them first. We don’t write a word until the strategy is right.
We craft your materials.
Your career documents are developed section by section, following the strategy from Step 2. Every claim traces back to something you actually told us. We don’t invent metrics, inflate titles, or assume responsibilities you didn’t mention. AI does the heavy lifting, encoding research and professional standards, while humans steer the ship: every strategic decision, every quality check, and every sign-off is ours.
Your resume is optimised for applicant tracking systems and checked for formatting, readability, and language that might flag as AI-generated. The same rigour applies to every document in your package.
You review. We finalise.
Once your documents are ready, we send you full drafts of your resume and cover letters for review. If everything looks good, let us know and we’ll finalise. If something needs adjusting, whether that’s the direction, the tone, or the detail, tell us and we’ll incorporate your feedback before finalising. If we don’t hear back within the review window, we proceed to delivery.
Every Resume and Cover Letter Package also includes an Optimisation Guide showing you how to tailor your documents to different roles. Every application document includes a refinement round after delivery, so if something needs tweaking once you start applying, you’re covered.
Upload your resume.
Upload your resume, tell us what role or sector you’re targeting, and choose between an Audit (detailed assessment with clear next steps) or a Revamp (assessment plus we revise it for you).
There’s also space to share context that helps us give you a sharper assessment: whether you’ve used AI tools, where you are in your job search, what you think might be holding you back, and anything you’d like us to handle carefully. None of that is required, but it makes a difference. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes.
We assess it.
We don’t just scan for typos and formatting. Your resume goes through a structured assessment covering how you’re positioned for your target roles, whether your content reads as AI-generated to experienced recruiters, how it performs against applicant tracking systems, and whether it meets Australian hiring conventions.
You get a detailed report with specific, prioritised recommendations and rewritten examples you can use immediately. If you chose an Audit alone, this is your deliverable. If you chose a Revamp, this becomes the blueprint for what we do next.
We revise and you review.
If you’ve chosen a Revamp, or if you upgrade after receiving your Audit, we implement the findings: rewriting for stronger impact, eliminating AI red flags, optimising for tracking systems, and tightening your positioning for the Australian market. Every change traces back to your actual experience. You receive your Resume Audit and a revised resume, ready to submit.
Who’s behind your career documents?
Opportunity Toolkit was built by Luke and Jack, two Australians who learned the hard way that being good at your job and being good at getting a job are completely different skills. After using what they’d learned to help friends land roles in law, marketing, and game design, they built a system to make it repeatable. A qualified career counsellor oversees the methodology. Every project runs through rigorous quality control. And if it’s not right, you don’t pay.
Our Quality Promise
We guarantee you’ll be proud to put your name on your career documents. If you’re not, we’ll make it right. With our Create stream, you get the chance to review full drafts and shape the direction before anything is finalised. Every application material includes a refinement round at no extra cost.
With our Refine stream, your Audit or Revamp is built to the same professional standards, and if it contains errors or omissions, we’ll correct them. If something’s not right after delivery, tell us within 14 days and we’ll make it right. If we can’t meet professional standards, you get a full refund. All of this is backed by Australian Consumer Law, because that’s how it should work.
