Terms of Service.
These terms set out what you can expect from us and what we need from you. By placing an order, you agree to them.

What you’re buying
1What we provide
We provide professional career document services for the Australian job market: resumes, cover letters, career playbooks, and career document assessments. We help you present your genuine experience strategically.
The products we currently offer, what each one includes, and what each one costs are set out on our Services page. The inclusions listed there when you place your order are the ones that apply to your order.
We do not provide job placement, recruitment, legal, financial, immigration, or medical advice, and we cannot guarantee employment outcomes. Our services improve how your experience is presented. Whether that leads to interviews or offers depends on factors beyond our control.
2Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals aged 18 years and over. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3Payment
Payment is due at the time of order. We accept credit card, debit card, Google Pay, and Afterpay, processed securely through Stripe. If payment fails, your order will not proceed until payment is resolved. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
What we promise
4Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. These include guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, will be fit for any purpose you make known to us, and will be delivered within a reasonable time.
You are entitled to a remedy if services fail to meet these guarantees. For major failures, you may choose a refund or compensation. For minor failures, we will re-perform the service or provide a partial refund at our discretion. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
5Our Satisfaction Guarantee
The consumer guarantees above always apply. Beyond those statutory rights, here is what we commit to.
First, we put it right
Every paid product includes a way to fix work that has not landed.
- Documents you will send to an employer include a revision round after final delivery, for adjustments and phrasing changes to content we created.
- Separately, a factual error, or a gap between what you gave us in your Brief and the final materials, is corrected under this guarantee. Corrections do not use your revision round.
- Products delivered as complete works rather than documents you will revise, currently the Career Playbook, are corrected instead. If yours contains errors or omissions, or does not reflect what you told us, we will fix it. Where content is necessarily predictive, such as the questions an interviewer is likely to ask, we correct errors in the reasoning or in the material it draws on, but the prediction itself is not a statement of fact.
- Reports and assessments delivered alongside a document are corrected in the same way.
Then, if it still is not right, we make it right or refund you
If you have used your revision round or asked us to correct your work, and you are still not satisfied, tell us and we will either put it right at no additional cost or refund you.
What this does not cover
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. The guarantee is for work that falls short for you, not for a decision that you no longer want it.
Timing
Ask for your revision or correction within 14 days of final delivery. The guarantee itself runs for 14 days from finalisation, including any revisions, so if we revise or correct your work the clock starts again from that delivery.
The free Career Snapshot carries the correction commitment but not the refund, because there is nothing to refund.
How the work runs
6Your Brief
After you order, you complete your Brief: the questions we use to understand your experience, your goals, and how you want to be positioned. It saves as you go, you can have a link emailed to you so you can continue on another device, and your progress is held for 90 days.
We build your documents from what you tell us in your Brief. If we need anything further, we will ask.
7Drafts and revisions
Drafts
Some products include an optional draft review before finalisation. The Services page says which ones. If yours does and you take it, you will receive drafts for review and have 4 business days to give feedback on direction, emphasis, or content. The draft review window closes when either of the following happens, whichever comes first: the 4 business days expire, or you confirm in writing that you have nothing further to add. Once the window closes, we proceed to finalisation. If we do not hear from you within the 4 business days, we treat that as approval and proceed. You can opt out of draft review when you complete your Brief.
Revisions
Each document you will send to an employer includes one revision round after final delivery, for adjustments and phrasing changes to content we created.
A factual error, or a gap between what you gave us in your Brief and the final materials, is corrected under our Satisfaction Guarantee and does not use your revision round.
Revisions do not cover:
- New information you did not give us in your Brief
- Changes to your career direction or target roles after delivery
- Repositioning or a new strategic direction
- Additional documents beyond your original order
These are changes in scope, not revisions. If your circumstances change after we deliver, we are happy to help, but this may require a new engagement or additional fees.
The included revision round is complete once we deliver the requested revisions. Additional changes after that point fall outside the included round and may incur fees.
8Turnaround times
Every paid product is delivered within 4 business days of your Brief being submitted.
If your product includes draft review and you take it, your drafts arrive within 2 business days and your finals within a further 2 business days of your feedback. Total active work time is the same 4 business days.
Where a product includes both an assessment and a revised document, the report and the document are delivered together in a single delivery.
The free Career Snapshot is delivered within 2 business days.
Turnaround times are measured from Brief submission and pause while we are waiting on your response. The clock resumes when we hear back from you. These are estimates, not guarantees. Circumstances outside our control may occasionally cause delays. We will let you know if this happens.
9Cancellations
Once payment is received, you can start your Brief straight away. Work on your project begins when your Brief is submitted.
If you cancel before submitting your Brief, you are eligible for a full refund. After your Brief is submitted, you are eligible for a 50% refund at any time until we deliver something to you, whether that is a draft or your finished work. The remaining 50% covers the strategic analysis and preparation already undertaken. After that first delivery, cancellation is not eligible for a refund.
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the work delivered, our Satisfaction Guarantee applies instead.
What we need from you
10Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information about your experience and qualifications
- Respond to clarification or consultation questions within 4 business days
- Review drafts and provide feedback within 4 business days
Accuracy
We build your documents from what you tell us. We cannot verify your credentials, employment history, or achievements. You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide is accurate. If inaccurate information leads to problems with your documents or their use, that responsibility rests with you.
Responsiveness
We provide opportunities throughout the process for you to shape direction, clarify details, and provide feedback. If we do not receive a response within 4 business days, we will proceed using the information available. Any limitations in the final deliverables resulting from incomplete information are not our responsibility.
11Reaching us
We reply to enquiries within 1 business day. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, Melbourne time.
12Acceptable use
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if:
- Information provided is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or offensive
- You request content that is fabricated, misleading, or misrepresents your qualifications
- Communications with our team are abusive, threatening, or harassing
If we discontinue service for any of these reasons, standard cancellation terms apply.
Ownership, AI and liability
13How we use AI
Our process is designed and directed by people. We set your positioning, we make the calls on how your experience gets framed, and every claim traces back to something you told us. Within that structure, artificial intelligence plays an integral role.
AI operates within frameworks we have developed and refined, executing our methodology: analysing your Brief, developing strategic positioning, identifying your competitive advantages, calibrating your professional voice, and drafting your documents. Your personal information is not used to train AI models.
14Intellectual property
You own your documents. The final resumes, cover letters, and other deliverables are yours to use as you wish.
We retain our methodology. Our frameworks, templates, processes, and strategic approaches remain our intellectual property. You may not resell, redistribute, or repurpose our methodology or any templates provided.
15Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:
- Employment outcomes, including interviews, job offers, and career progression
- How third parties such as employers, recruiters, and applicant tracking systems respond to your documents
- Consequential losses arising from use of our services
- Issues arising from inaccurate information you provided
Your information
16Confidentiality
We treat all information you provide as confidential. Your career details, documents, and personal information will not be shared with third parties except as required to deliver our services or as required by law.
17Data retention
We retain your project files for 12 months after final delivery to support any follow-up requests. After this period, project files are deleted. An incomplete Brief is held for 90 days and then discarded. You can request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.
18Privacy
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to this collection and use.
Changes and contact
19Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
20Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
